Terms and Conditions

1. General

  • These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, orders, and installations carried out by Shutter Squad.
  • By placing an order, the customer agrees to be bound by these terms.

2. Quotations & Orders

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of a signed order form and deposit payment.
  • Made-to-measure shutters cannot be cancelled or refunded once manufacturing has begun.

3. Measurements & Specifications

  • Measurements taken by our team are guaranteed to fit. If the customer provides measurements, we are not liable for incorrect sizing.
  • All shutters are custom-made and may have a manufacturing tolerance of ±5mm.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
  • A deposit of 50% is required to confirm the order. The balance is payable on the day of installation.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash.

5. Delivery & Installation

  • Estimated lead times are provided at the time of order but are subject to change due to manufacturing or shipping delays.
  • We will contact the customer to arrange a convenient installation date.
  • The customer must ensure access to the property and clear window areas prior to installation.

6. Guarantee

  • Our shutters come with a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised modifications.

7. Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss resulting from delays or installation issues.
  • Any damage to property during installation must be reported within 48 hours.

8. Returns & Refunds

  • As all shutters are made to order, returns are not accepted unless the product is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
  • Faults must be reported within 7 days of installation.

9. Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the suitability of shutters for their intended use.
  • Any planning permissions or listed building consents are the responsibility of the customer.

10. Data Protection

  • Customer information is stored securely and used only for the purpose of fulfilling the order. We do not share data with third parties.
